- Our Commitment to Privacy In its effort to protect the privacy of its clients and of its website users, Intarget places great importance on controlling and managing the data shared on its website, whether for business or statistical purposes.
Intarget undertakes to rigorously respect the privacy of the personal and non-personal information that it collects, as set out in this privacy policy (hereafter referred to as the “Policy”). This Policy applies to the entire site astrolab.qc.ca, its app Émergence (available on Apple’s App Store and Google Play) as well as to the products and services offered by Intarget.

- Collection of Information Two types of information are collected on our website:
a) Personal information For the purposes of this Policy, the term “personal information” refers to any information enabling the identification of a person. Any action related to an online booking, subscription, resumé submission, or contact form requires the voluntary transmission of your personal information. When this information is needed to process your request, you will be advised.
This information includes the following data collected by Intarget:

Intarget primarily collects this type of information using cookies and pixels (a piece of code that tracks visitors on the website). Cookies are small data files that browsers install on a user’s hard drive when they first visit a website.
Mobile app Our mobile app Émergence does not collect any data to date.
- Use of Collected Information The user data is collected to allow Intarget to provide services tailored to the needs of its customers, as well as for the following purposes: advertising, analytics, contacting users, interaction with social networks and external platforms, registration and authentication, handling payments, managing contacts and sending messages, remarketing and behavioural targeting.
a) Personal information Contact information The contact information voluntarily provided by the users of Intarget’s website may be used for the following reasons: to confirm the requested booking of an activity; to send information about our company’s products and services; to contact them if necessary; to understand their needs; and to determine their level of satisfaction using a survey.
b) Non-personal information Cookies The use of cookies allows Intarget to compile statistics enabling it to analyze its website traffic and create online ads.
Analytic tool Our company uses Google Analytics to better understand the behaviour of those who use Intarget’s website. We may use this data to improve our website’s structure. Google Analytics also allows us to determine our current or potential clients’ profiles, in order to improve our offer of products and services.
To collect anonymous information and produce statistical reports, Google Analytics may use cookies but without identifying you personally.
Advertising and remarketing To promote its products and services online and increase traffic to its website, Intarget uses Google Ads and Facebook Ads. Intarget uses Google Ads and Facebook Ads in order to better meet the needs of its customers and display ads that may interest them.

Statistics To gather information about its users and their browsing habits, Intarget uses data from Google Analytics.
